Sustainability & Ethics
PRESERVING THE EARTH:
In 2024, we're making a fresh start. After four years in business, it seems natural to us to turn towards more sustainable practices, in line with our deep-rooted values of respect for nature. We believe it is essential to honor the resources our planet offers us, without which we could not survive. Rather than plundering Mother Earth, we embrace the circular economy and favor lower consumption but higher quality. We are committed to using quality materials, 100% recycled to create sustainable jewelry while minimizing our ecological impact. By using materials that are already available, we avoid overmining.
Coming from a family of travelers and mountaineers, we have a close bond with nature and are deeply affected by the ecological disasters of our generation.
That's why we've decided to completely overhaul our manufacturing processes.
From now on, we'll be working with recycled 925 silver, gold-filled chains made from recycled brass and gold, and a reduced selection of traceable stones, to ensure total transparency as to the origin of our raw materials. We are in the midst of a transition and will gradually introduce these new manufacturing processes from 2024, while patiently selling off our old stocks.
OUR COMMITMENT TO THE FUTURE:
In addition, we have now chosen to donate 1% of our profits each year to the “Plant with purpose” organization.
Their mission is to fight poverty and deforestation by working with local communities to plant trees and develop sustainable farming practices.
Their impact on the environment:
Millions of trees have been planted, contributing to reforestation and environmental restoration. Improved soil and water management practices mean healthier ecosystems and increased agricultural productivity.
Economic impact:
Increased household income and financial stability for participating families. Food security is enhanced through improved farming practices and diversification of income sources.
Community impact:
Empowerment of local communities to take charge of their own development and manage their natural resources sustainably. Strengthening community cohesion and collaboration through collective efforts in savings groups and environmental projects.
