Gold-Filled is a high quality material, which contains minimum 5% of gold. This technique comes from the United States and is less common in Europe. It consists of hot-pressing a layer of 14k or 18k gold on a brass or copper base.
Your Gold-Filled jewels will last for more than 30 years without tarnishing, as it is the thickest and most resistant form of gilding.
Gold-Filled contains 50 to 100 times more gold compared to gold-plated products.

Purification & Recharging
There are different ways to purify an object or a place, with fumigation, fire, salt, water, earth or sound. In order to avoid damaging your TerraGemma gold-plated or gold-filled jewelry, we recommend the fumigation method of purification. Fumigation is done with Palo Santo or sacred sage, first open the windows to let the energies out, then simply pass the jewelry crystal through the white smoke mentalising “May all the energies accumulated in this crystal go away.” Take this moment to connect to the vibrations of your crystal which is now purified.
In addition to purification when you feel the need, it is also important to recharge your crystal with positive energies. There are also two ways to do this, with the sun and the moon. Place your crystal under the light of the full moon all night, or only a few hours under the sun’s rays to avoid altering the beautiful colors of your stone.
